South is a dynamic new restaurant concept that is heating up the east end of Toronto. Serving authentic Latin dishes in an unparalleled environment, South features market fresh produce and seafood as well as superb dry-aged beef.
South is designed to be an urban oasis with giant palms, a rustic concrete bar, bamboo features and tiki huts. Our dining room boasts plush banquettes, reclaimed wood tables and can seat up to 140 guests. The 10-seat "Grotto Tapas Bar" serves creative tapas plates, fresh fruit juices, smoothies and much more six days a week. The Absolut South Lounge is a private mezzanine that is perfect for dinner parties and bottle service. The sixty seat Bamboo patio is a hot summer destination, and includes the Tequila Rose beach bar.
South Authentic Latin Restaurant has partnered with Canada's most popular Chef; The Food Network's David Adjey, to bring savory and mouth-watering culinary fare to Durham Region. Chef Adjey along with South's David Crisp has created our menu by drawing inspiration from the great Latin markets in Toronto.
